(Iraq News)- Member of the Islamic State group prepares a mortar shell attack.

Baqubah (IraqiNews.com) Four mortar shells fell on an agricultural village, northeast of Baqubah, Head of the security committee of Abu Saida area, Awad al-Rabei said on Sunday.

Rabei said in a statement that four mortar shells fell, today, on Abu Karma Village, north of Abu Saida area, northeast of Baqubah, without causing any casualties.

The mortar shells were fired by the Islamic State members, who are stationed in al-Mukhaisa gardens area, he added.

Army detachments started to clear the area from the terrorist members, he further explained.

Rabei also called on security forces to find an ultimate solution for al-Karma village, which is frequently attacked by the Islamic State members, due to its strategic location near Baqubah.
