Russia says unwilling to invest in Iran energy sector

(Iraq Now News)-

Spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin denied Friday statements by Khamenei‘s adviser Ali Akbar Velayati about Moscow‘s plans to invest in energy sector in Iran.

Dmitry Piskov told reporters "I can not confirm this, and I can not say anything more detailed".

Velayati said after his meeting with Russian President on Thursday that the latter confirmed his country‘s readiness to invest in the oil and gas sector of Iran by 50 billion dollars.
