Where Isis stored weapons, Mosul now has a funfair – in pictures

(Iraq Now News)-

In April, an amusement park reachable only by ferry opened on an island in the Tigris.

Construction had started in 2011 but stopped when Isis took control of the Iraqi city of Mosul in 2014.

Isis used the island to hide weapons and munitions
