Coalition warplanes conduct airstrikes on Deir Ezzor, 11 Casualties

Deir Ezzor (Syria News) A local source informed that 11 persons were killed and others were wounded in air strikes carried out by the US-led international coalition, on Tuesday, on the village of Shahabat, in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, Qasioun News reported.

The source revealed that the international coalition has recently escalated its military operations in the area, while Russian warplanes conducted dozens of airstrikes on the villages and towns of AlBukamal, Zaghbar, Kharita and AlBulel.

Furthermore, the Russian warplanes bombarded ferries while standing on the banks of the Euphrates River in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, leaving dozens of civilian casualties.

It is noteworthy that ongoing military operations are carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces militia, backed by the U.S.

forces, and the Syrian regime forces, backed by Russia, in the city of Deir Ezzor, where both sides advanced significantly against the Islamic State during the last few days.
