Israeli magazine says Mossad penetrated Iran

2018/10/13 | 22:20

(Iraq Now News)- The Israeli magazine Israel Defense revealed that Israeli intelligence has penetrated Iranian territory more than once and is aware of what is happening in Tehran. The magazine said in a report that members of the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, received thousands of documents related to the Iranian nuclear program, and that information enabled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to make statements about the existence of nuclear weapons facilities in Tehran. The report explained that Netanyahu‘s statements confirm his knowledge of new information from the Mossad, but he preferred not to disclose all the details, which are of a sensitive security nature. It added that the Mossad had provided officials in Paris with information about the possibility of Iranian terrorist operations in France and some European countries, which enabled the French authorities to thwart the attack that targeted a meeting of the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK), an Iranian resistance group.
