US officers from the US-led coalition visited fighters with the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) at the site of Turkish airstrikes near northeastern Syrian Kurdish town of Derik on Tuesday.

Turkish warplanes killed more than 20 Kurdish fighters in strikes in Syria and Mount Shingal in the Kurdistan Region, northern Iraq.

The pictures also show relatives of the YPG fighters visiting the ruined sites of the bombardment on Mount Karachok in Derik.
