Iraq bans cargo planes from landing directly in Kurdistan

(Iraq News)- ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — The Iraqi government’s ministry of transportation has decided to ban direct landings of all cargo planes at all Iraqi airports including Erbil and Sulaimani’s, expect at Baghdad International Airport.“The Iraqi ministry of transportation and communication has decided to ban landings for all cargo planes at all Iraqi airports including Erbil and Sulaimani’s, expect at Baghdad International Airport.

The decision subjects the cargo of all cargo planes to be inspected at Baghdad airport.
