Car bomb attack targets Makhmour refugee camp, southern Erbil

(Iraq Now News)- ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – A car bomb on Wednesday exploded at the Makhmour refugee camp 40 miles south of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, killing and wounding several people.

Over 10,000 Kurdish refugees from northern Kurdistan (Turkey) are settled in the Makhmour camp.Updates to follow...
