More than 1,000 Iraqi journalists covered war against ISIS

(Iraq Now News)- Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayad al-Lami, confirmed Sunday that more than 1,000 Iraqi journalists and photographers covered the war against ISIS."We have sent more than a thousand journalists and photographers to the front lines, and we have been able to convey the true picture," he said.This statement came a day after PM Haider Abadi had declared the final victory over ISIS. 

Tens of Iraqi journalists have been killed and hundreds others wounded during covering the war against ISIS.
