(Iraq Now News)- Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi asserted on Wednesday that the world owes Iraq for its sacrifices in its war against terrorism.

The great Iraqi successes require a lot of support from the international community.

In a statement, Abadi said that the world will support Iraq after its victory against ISIS, noting that the current atmosphere in Iraq is suitable for investments and rebuilding Iraq.

This announcement came shortly after Abadi returned home from Paris as he was partaking at the climate change summit.

During the visit, Abadi met with French President Emmanuel Macaron, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich and World Bank Director Jim Young Jim as well as other political and international figures on the sidelines of the climate change summit in Paris.
