National Wisdom Movement says may not join coalitions for next elections

(Iraq Now News)- Iraqi lawmaker with National Wisdom Movement Habib al-Tarfi said on Friday the Movement is likely to contest in the coming elections on an independent electoral list.

"So far there is no clear vision about the electoral alliances and how we will deal with it.

And the Movement will ally itself with the other trends representing its platform," he added.

However, the lawmaker said the coalition is unlikely to join alliances."The Movement has what it takes to run in the coming elections with an independent electoral list.

Iraq is to hold the coming legislative elections on May 15th.
