Bomb blasts in Basra, 2 critically wounded

(Iraq Now News)- A bomb blast has taken place in the village of al-Sarifa in northern Basra, wounding two civilians who were fishing in the river, a source said on Saturday.

"A war remnant has gone off near the fishing boat of the two civilians," he noted.

Hands of one of the injured have been amputated due to the blast, the source noted.

"Both of the injured were in critical condition.

And they were taken to hospital for treatment," he added.
