Salih highlights importance of quick response to protesters demands

(Iraq Now News)- President Barham Salih has highlighted the importance of quick response to the protesters demands. 

In remarks during a meeting with governors of the southern and central provinces, Salih said “it’s necessary to preserve the national security and protesters as well as the quick response to their demands.”

In related news, Salih also urged necessity of ‘self-restraint’ and the ‘necessary reforms’.

He also added that the presidency will support compensating those harmed during the protests as well as holding the outlaws accountable, especially those who fired against the demonstrators.

Salih stressed the importance of a cabinet reshuffle to enhance the performance of the government in order to provide the services, jobs and achieve social justice.
