BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:10 A.M.) – Bodies of Iraqi paramilitary soldiers, allegedly ambushed by the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) north of Bagdad, arrived in the Iraqi capital on Monday.
Crowds including military personnel and soldiers gathered around ambulances as coffins were carried off amid the shouts of ‘La ilaha illa Allah’ [There is no god but God] and crowds’ mourning.
The ambushers were reportedly disguised as Iraqi soldiers, killing as many as 27.
