Hawler secured the title in the sixth and final round of the season following their 5-5 draw with Zeravani which meant the club finished top of the league with 14 points, one ahead of their opponents who finished in second.
Meanwhile, Afrodait beat Jihan University 6-3 to guarantee third-place in the league.
Jihan University failed to register a single point all season.
The 2017/18 Kurdistan Women’s Futsal League began on Oct.
13 with 10 teams initially participating in the competition.
Due to the occupation of Kirkuk by the Iraqi army and Iranian-backed Hashd al-Shaabi militias last October, Thawra and Northern Gas withdrew from the competition.
The other clubs were forced to pull-out for various reasons, leaving only four teams left to compete.
