WAAR-DUHOK:

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani in a press conference on Tuesday hoped all disputes between Erbil and Baghdad will soon be solved in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.

“This is the outcome of several formal and informal meetings with the Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi,” Barzani said.

“I appreciate all Kurdish factions who continuously made efforts to resolve the issues between the sides.

I also thank the Iraqi Premier,” he added.

He additionally revealed that in a phone call on Monday evening with his Iraqi counterpart Haider al-Abadi, both sides have asserted that the international flight ban in the region will be lifted this week, adding that salaries of Kurdish employees will be sent soon as well.

However, he said, managing the airports in Kurdistan Region has its constitutional procedures which the Iraqi minister of Interior will give more details when he arrives in Erbil soon.
