Health Directorate announced on Friday the final toll of the bloody events

witnessed in the province on Thursday, noting that 16 people were killed and

500 others were injured.A

health official told local media that the final outcome of the events witnessed

in the province yesterday, amounted to 16 fatalities and 500 wounded.On

Thursday, Najaf police announced a curfew that lasted until Friday morning in

light of the bloody events that accompanied the demonstrations.
